Una nueva temporada y una nueva colección... Por lo que estamos buscando niños y niñas de entre 4 y 8 años que quieran aparecer en nuestra web. El fotoshoot tendrá lugar en Londres. Spanish Fiesta casi pasada por agua!
El Sábado celebré mi cumple con una fiesta española en casa que casi tuve que cancelar... El día se levantó soleado. Tenía toda la casa preparada para la fiesta. Sólo me faltaban hacer las tortillas, las empanadillas y los pimientos de padrón. La tarta, la ensaladilla rusa y lo demás ya estaba listo. Bueno pues cuando estaba en la cocina preparando las últimas cosas (a eso de las 3pm) se puso a llover a cántaros como nunca antes había visto llover en Londres... y cuando me di cuenta, tenía todo el salón empantanado!!! AAaaAAgghhh!!! Casi me da algo... No me lo podía creer!!! Otra vez no!! (Era la tercera vez. La segunda este año!) El agua pasaba por debajo de la puerta del balcón como si se tratara de las cataratas del Niágara. El agua me cubría los pies, me quedé totalmente petrificada. ¿Cómo iba a quitar todo ese agua? Lo ideal hubiera sido barrerlo todo hacia afuera pero imposible de hacer con el escalón hacia arriba que hay en la puerta del balcón. Para entonces, el agua ya llegaba a mi habitación, la de Cai, los baños y la cocina!! Y yo gritando, llorando y suplicando al cielo para que dejara de llover. Me entró un ataque de nervios y no podía parar de gritar. Cai me pedía por favor que parara y mi vecino de abajo debió de pensar que me estaban matando de no ser por el agua que le estaba cayendo a su vez por el techo. (El pobre subió para ver si estaba bien y por si podía echarme una mano, pero con mi ataque de histeria, los pelos de loca y las pintas que tenía tuve que rechazar su ayuda) Cuando dejó un poco de llover, salí al balcón, aquello parecía mi propia piscina privada, y empecé a tirar cubos y cubos de agua por la barandilla hasta que pude deshacerme de toda ella. Cai llamó a su padre y vino a ayudarnos. Mi salón parecía como si acabara de pasar un huracán con mogollón de toallas, ropa y sábanas tiradas por los suelos. Yo no hacía más que pensar en la fiesta que tenía en apenas unas horas pero me negaba a cancelar. (Yo no bebo mucho pero después de aquello, lo que más necesitaba era una copa de vino!) Al final conseguimos deshacernos de todo 3h y 45L de agua más tarde y con tan sólo una hora antes del comienzo de la fiesta. Osea que tuve que arreglarme en cuestión de segundos y seguir cocinando. Pero bueno... con algo de retraso con la comida (y alguna que al final no dio tiempo a hacer) la fiesta se celebró con éxito sin rastro de la pesadilla que había experimentado horas antes. ~ On Saturday I celebrated my birthday with a Spanish fiesta that almost had to be cancelled... I woke up to a lovely sunny day. I had the house ready for the party. I just needed to cook the Spanish omelettes, "empanadillas" and padron peppers. The cake, Russian salad and other things were ready. As I was cooking in the kitchen (around 3pm) it started raining like crazy!! I've never seen rain like that in London before... and when I realised, my whole living room was flooded!! AaaAAgghhh!!! I lost it. I couldn't believe it! Not again!!! (It was the third time. Second one this year!) The water was coming through the balcony door like the Niagara Falls. The water covered my feet, I was completely blocked. The only thing I could think of was: HOW was I gonna get rid off that water? It would've been perfect to sweep it all out but the step up to the balcony made it impossible. At that time, the water already spread to my bedroom, Cai's, the toilet, bathroom and kitchen!! And there I was, screaming, crying and imploring the sky to stop the rain. I had a nervous breakdown and couldn't stop screaming. Cai was begging me to stop and the neighbour below me must have thought somebody was killing me if it hadn't been for the water leaking through his ceiling. (Poor guy... He came to ensure I was ok and to see if he could give me a hand but my hysteric attack and the hair and looks of a mad woman made me reject his help). When the rain stopped, I went out on the balcony, that looked like my very own private swimming pool, and started scooping the water out over the rail until I got rid off it all. Cai called his dad to come and help us. My living room looked like the remainings of a town after a hurricane; with towels, clothes and bed sheets all over the floor. I couldn't stop thinking about the party I was supposed to be hosting in less than a couple of hours but I was reluctant to cancel it. (I'm not someone that drinks a lot but that day, I needed a glass of wine so badly!). 3h and 45L of water later, we managed to dry it all out and with only an hour to spare to get ready (and look presentable) and finish the rest of the cooking. So, with a bit of delay with the food (and some that had to be taken off the menu due to timing) the fiesta was a success and with no signs of the nightmare I had to experience just hours before.

My Birthday!
Llevo unos días sin pasar por aquí! La producción de la colección de Otoño/Invierno me ha tenido súper liada... Pero, hoy es mi cumple!! Osea que me he tomado un poco el día de descanso... =) Cai me ha hecho una ensalada de chorizo y pollo con rúcula y pimientos asados súúúúper buena ;) (qué rabia no haberle hecho foto! Pero tenía tan buena pinta que no ha durado ni un segundo intacta). Después me ha sorprendido con un ramo de flores precioso! A éste sí que le he hecho foto. Mirad! ;) ~ I haven't been writing on the blog for a few days... The A/W production is taken most of my time... But today is my birthday! So I've kind of taken the day for myself and Cai... =) Cai's made me a delicious salad for lunch, consisting of chorizo, chicken, rocket and char-grilled peppers. Yum! (shame I didn't take a photo of this but it looked sooo good I couldn't resist to start eating it). After my lunch, he surprised me with a beautiful flower bouquet. Here is the pic! ;)

Feeling gooood!!
Por fin me encuentro mucho mejor!! Toca ponerse con los patrones y con la producción de Otoño/ Invierno'12. Con todos los días que he perdido, me toca ponerme las pilas... Nos vemos pronto! =) ~ At last I'm feeling so much better!! I need to work on the patterns and the AW12 production. I've lost too many days of work so I better get going... I'll see you soon! =)

Bye Bye Malaga!!
Último día en Málaga. Qué cortito se ha hecho... Y qué pena que no haya podido disfrutarlo demasiado. Pero bueno, Cai se lo ha pasado genial y éso es lo que cuenta! A ver si podemos volver el año que viene... eh, Víctor y Ali? ;) Bueno, por ahora, os esperamos nosotros en Londres. =) Mirad qué puesta del sol nos regaló Málaga antes de irnos... ~ Last day in Malaga. It felt too short... What a shame I couldn't enjoy it as much as I would've loved to but hey, Cai had an amazing time so that's what counts! Hope we can make it again next year... hey, Victor and Ali? ;) Well, for now, we'll hope to see you soon in London. =) Look at the beautiful sunset that Malaga gave us as we were leaving...

This is becoming a joke...
Ya me tengo que reir... Por si la Faringitis, Migraña, Gastroenteritis y Orzuelo no fueran suficientes, estoy con infección de oído... A quien se lo diga, no se lo cree. Espero que ésto signifique que voy a estar súper "healthy" por muchos años. ~ I gotta laugh... If Pharyngitis, Migraine, Gastroenteritis and Sty weren't enough, I've got an ear infection... This is becoming unbelievable. I hope this means that I'm gonna be super healthy for years to come.

Cai is 11!!
Wow! Cómo pasa el tiempo... Mi gordi ya tiene 11 añazos!! Se lo está pasando genial en Málaga... felíz en la piscina (no para ni un segundo y puede tirarse horas dentro del agua!!) y jugando al football. Se ha hecho amigos aquí y por las tardes, después de la piscina, se van a jugar un buen rato... Para celebrar su cumple, hemos ido a la playa y hemos comido en el Sardiná... [Aquí os dejo algunas fotos de lo que me ha dado tiempo a hacer porque ya había hambrecilla!! ;)] ~ Wow! Time flies... My boy is already 11!! He is having such a great time in Malaga... He's just happy swimming (he can spend hours in the pool!!) and playing football. He's made some friends here and every evening, after the pool, they all go to play football til the sun goes down... Today, to celebrate his birthday, we've gone to the beach and we've had lunch at Sardina...

Por la tarde, hemos ido a la piscina. Cai me ha convencido para que me meta en el agua con la excusa de que mi orzuelo mejoraría con el agua de sal y al final me he tenido que salir corriendo porque me ha dado un ataque de tos que no podía parar... Eso sí! mi orzuelo ha desaparecido!! Gracias a Cai y al agua de mar! ~ We've spent the afternoon in the pool. Cai convinced me to go for a swim with the excuse that my sty would improve with the sea water and had to run out as I was having a cough attack and couldn't stop... But, I gotta say that my sty has disappeared!! Thanks to Cai and sea salt water! ;)
Aquí os dejo una foto de la tarta de cumpleaños... A Cai le encanta el bizcocho así que mi hermano y mi madre le han hecho uno de naranja súper rico! Felíz Cumpleaños Cai!!! TQM.
